According to sources, BSNL will launch its 4G service around August 2022 and after that it will be launched on a large scale across the country by the end of the year. Meanwhile, a new information has emerged that the hardware that BSNL will use to launch 4G service will support 4G as well as 5G network.

It is worth noting that BSNL will launch 4G service in Kanyakumari district in August 2022. According to a report in The Hindu, BSNL will upgrade the existing 292 mobile towers in the Nagercoil business area in Kanyakumari to start 4G services. Such hardware will be supplied for these towers, which will also support 5G network.

BSNL to install 300 more towers
According to the report, BSNL is planning to install more than 300 new towers in the region, so that users in the Nagercoil business area can get better 4G services and they can get a great network experience. However, BSNL will not stop here. The company will also add 100 micro towers to provide better coverage. These micro towers will be connected in heavy traffic areas such as commercial places, bus stands and hospitals etc.
